Sexual Abuse Against Children - Now !

“Events have happened, about which it is difficult to speak
and impossible to be silent.”  ~
Edmund Burke

Child sexual abuse affects us all, which is why RISE invites Survivors to share their stories, gain support and become part of a community inspired to promote awareness and effect change. Together RISE believes that Survivors can make a difference in their own lives, the lives of other Survivors and the innocent lives of children at risk.

This is not about hate, it’s about healing. One path forward is for Survivors to summon their courage, rise above abuse and find their voice. This undertaking is far from easy, but it can be as simple as shifting the haunting thoughts and memories from “What’s wrong with me?”  to expressing one’s life in terms of “This happened to me.”

Survivors of Abuse:

A perpetrator’s greatest power is our silence. Our greatest power is to share our stories.

Join us and declare in one voice, “This ends now, and it ends now, because we say so!”

The following information is required for our records when submitting a story. Understand that your information will never be shared with anyone – ever. Stories will be published with first name and location only, unless otherwise specified. Since RISE receives stories from all over the world, the ability to share your location demonstrates that this issue is a global one.

If you wish to remain anonymous, please indicate this by checking the box provided. By submitting a story, you consent to let RISE publish it as well as edit it for length, tone, and clarity. While every story cannot be published, all stories received will be read and honored — every single one.

Thank you for your contribution.

Please note: To protect RISE from any liability, please refrain from giving full names or other identifying information of alleged abusers.

“…as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.”
